Artondale, WA (April 19, 2021) – A single-vehicle collision in Artondale on Saturday, April 17, left two people dead.
According to local sources, the fatal crash occurred in the Gib Harbor area, near the intersection of 83rd Avenue NW and 40th Street NW. Two people in their 20s reportedly lost their lives in the accident. Initial reports revealed that the victims were traveling in a vehicle when it lost control, striking a telephone pole guideline.
The car proceeded to crash into two trees before coming to a stop nearly ten feet into an embankment. Both the occupants were killed in the impact. At this time, it is unknown if anyone else was riding in the vehicle at the time of the fatal collision.
An ongoing investigation into the incident is underway.
