University Place, WA (May 17, 2021) – A single-vehicle accident in University Place sent five people to the hospital on Saturday, May 15, with four being in critical condition.
Initial reports indicated that the collision occurred at around 9:30 p.m. that night at the intersection of Grandview Drive and Olympic Boulevard. A vehicle with five occupants was traveling through the roundabout when it crashed. Emergency responders were on-site to extricate the passengers.
It was revealed that four of the involved parties sustained critical injuries. All five victims were transported to a nearby medical facility for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further updates on their conditions are available at this time.
An ongoing crash investigation is underway.
