Kenmore, WA (May 4, 2021) - A car crash in the area of Kenmore on Sunday, May 2, resulted in a fatality.
Initial reports indicated that a vehicle was traveling eastbound on Bothell Way at the time of the deadly accident. The driver reportedly left the roadway and entered an embankment. Both the driver and passenger were trapped inside and had to be extricated by emergency responders.
Both were in critical condition at the scene. The driver later succumbed to their injuries, and the passenger was transported to a nearby hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. No further updates have been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is underway.
