Apartment Fires in Seattle
There are many stories in the nightly news about apartment fires that impact the local community. Nearly 28% of residential building fires from 2005 to 2007 involved multi-family housing units. On average, 108,400 apartment fires occur each year across the United States. Annually, more than 450 people are killed and 3,8000 injures in multi-family unit fires. These fires cost the American public roughly $1.1 billion per year.
Apartment fire and explosion victims often find themselves struggling to learn their rights in time to protect themselves after an accident. Generally, most people do not have a complete understanding of state laws, insurance policies, or what procedures to follow after being injured in an explosion. Luckily, you do not have to pursue a personal injury claim on your own. An experienced Seattle personal injury attorney can help you pursue a claim and recover compensation for damages, including medical expenses, lost income, and other losses.
