Tacoma, WA (June 15, 2021) - One person was left with injuries in the aftermath of a house fire in the Tacoma area on Sunday, June 13.
The incident was reported early that morning at around 8 a.m. Firefighters were dispatched to the site of the blaze at a residence located at the 600 block of S. G Street. Smoke and flames were reportedly observable from the road.
Emergency responders located one person inside the structure. The injured party was treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby medical facility for further medical aid. No other injuries were reported.
Firefighters had to cut a hole in the roof in order to extinguish the flames. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
