Trucking Accidents in Seattle
When a passenger car is involved in a collision with a large truck, the resulting injuries can be catastrophic. National statistics reveal that thousands are killed annually in over 500,000 trucking accidents each year. In 2019, roughly 67% of the 4,119 trucking fatalities reported in the United States involved the occupants of personal vehicles.
Large semi-trucks can cause catastrophic injuries in the event of a collision with a passenger vehicle. Truck-driver inexperience is a leading cause of deadly commercial vehicle accidents as companies are trying to fill positions due to a shortage of drivers, and this negligence contributes to serious crashes involving 18-wheelers and commercial vehicles. When the negligence of another driver results in a crash, injured victims should consult with a Seattle trucking injury lawyer in order to recover lost compensation by pursuing a Washington personal injury claim.
