Seattle, WA (July 14, 2021) - A man riding a moped was injured after being hit by another vehicle in the Seattle area on Tuesday evening, July 13.
Near the intersection of Glenn Way and 45th Avenue, the accident took place. Emergency responders were notified of the incident at around 10:02 p.m. that night. The 46-year-old rider was reportedly struck by a driver who fled the scene.
The injured party was conscious when paramedics arrived. He was taken to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries, including a possible fracture. The suspect vehicle is reported to have sustained significant damage to the front bumper, causing it to drag underneath the car.
