Seattle, WA (August 16, 2021) - At least one person was injured in a major car collision in the Seattle area, according to local officials, on Sunday, August 15.
According to initial accounts, the collision happened at 7:19 p.m. that evening. According to reports, the event occurred near the junction of Rainier Avenue S. and S. Walker Street, causing emergency services to hurry to the scene to save the victims. Due to the collision, many lanes of the highway were closed.
There is limited informationĀ concerning the extent of the associated damages at this time. The area was momentarily closed when local officials arrived as paramedics treated people who had been injured in the tragedy. Ambulances were dispatched to the area, ready to transfer the injured to local hospitals for treatment.
There have been no more updates on the disaster as of yet. The cause of the crash is being investigated by law enforcement officers.
