Pierce Co, WA (August 4, 2021) - A pedestrian lost their life in the aftermath of a deadly accident in Pierce County on Wednesday, July 28.
The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of Wright Bliss Road and 109th Street. Local reports revealed that a Scion driven by a 63-year-old man was traveling toward the intersection. At the same time, a pedestrian was reportedly crossing the road.
The Scion hit the 32-year-old walker before crashing into the woods. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, and the driver also sustained undisclosed injuries. At this time, intoxication is not believed to be involved in the accident.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
