Everett, WA (August 6, 2021) - A pedestrian accident in Everett on Tuesday, August 3, ended in the death of a Mill Creek man.
The deadly crash occurred on Interstate 5 that evening at around 5 p.m. Local reports revealed that 33-year-old Jacob Roberts of Mill Creek was traveling along the roadway at the time of the crash. He entered the roadway after standing on the shoulder and was hit by an oncoming semi-truck.
Roberts sustained critical injuries in the impact. He was rushed to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment and was later pronounced dead. At this time, it is unknown if the driver sustained injuries following the crash.
No further updates have been provided at this time. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal accident is underway.
