Deadly Motorcycle Accidents in Washington State
Motorcyclists are more exposed to the dangers of the road than those riding in passenger cars. There is little protecting the rider from the full impact of a serious crash, increasing the risk of being fatally injured. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, nearly 80% of motorcycle crashes end in death or injury, and riders are nearly 27 times more likely to be killed in the event of a traffic accident.
