Seattle, WA - Cyclist Killed in Hit-&-Run at Seward Park Ave & Wilson Ave

Seattle, WA (April 12, 2021) - On Sunday night, April 11, the rider of a bicycle was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Seattle area.

According to local sources, the deadly accident occurred near Seward Park at around 7 p.m. that evening. The 63-year-old cyclist was traveling northbound on Seward Park Avenue when he was struck near Wilson Avenue S. First responders were present and performed CPR on the injured bicyclist.

The injured rider was transported to Harborview Medical Center in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead. The driver fled the scene, and the involved vehicle was described as a silver Nissan Sentra with a broken windshield.

An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is underway.
