Bellevue, WA (April 16, 2021) – Two people were injured following a fire at an apartment complex in Bellevue on Wednesday, April 16.
Local reports revealed that the fire occurred that night at around 6:30 p.m. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene, located at the 11200 block of NE 11th Street. Three people were trapped inside the structure when emergency responders arrived.
A unit’s kitchen reportedly caught fire, starting the blaze. Fortunately, a sprinkler at the complex helped to prevent the flames from spreading to adjacent units. Two people suffered injuries in the fire, with one being hospitalized for treatment.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
